Lindsay Majer

Lindsay’s teaching style is warm and welcoming while firm and resolute.  Each individual is met exactly where their ability lies. Her instructions are clear, non-intimidating, and support students in discovering each pose. Her precise language and attention to detail guides students in a way that is easy to understand.

“Lindsay is thoughtful and clear in her teaching and is dedicated to the needs of her students. She is able to explain each pose in a way that helps me understand how to position my body to get the most out of the pose. On top of it all, she is welcoming and unpretentious. Her class is unlike any I’ve experienced before. I am so glad I discovered her class. She is delightful!” - Ellie Schreiner

Lindsay discovered yoga in 1998 and hasn’t stopped practicing since. She completed her 500-hour teacher training in 2016 and her 200-hour teacher training in 2014 both through Lillah Schwartz’s Transformation Yoga Trainings. Lindsay has studied with Roger Cole, Elise Browning Miller, Simon Marrocco, Matthew Sanford, Bryan Legere, Mary Obendorfer, Eddy Marks, and many other notable teachers.

When Lindsay is not teaching, practicing, or studying yoga, she is the Director of Mindful Operations for the Tzedek Social Justice Fellowship, a program of the Amy Mandel and Katina Rodis Fund. She holds a Master’s Degree in Geography focused on Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology focused on Environmental Science. Lindsay loves digging in the dirt making flowers and vegetables grow. She enjoys cooking and spending time dining with friends in Asheville, NC.
