This Is How We Roll: Using the Foam Roller for Myofascial Release

Myofascial tissue is a thin, strong, fibrous connective tissue that extends throughout the body, supporting and protecting our muscles and bones. Trauma, inflammation, age, repetitive motion, and emotional stress can cause this tissue to become tight and rigid, resulting in knots or adhesions that restrict range of motion and can cause pain.

In this workshop we will use the foam roller to:

  • Release fascia and tight spots in our muscles
  • Increase flexibility and range of motion
  • Increase circulation
  • Reduce pain

All levels of students are invited. If you have your own foam roller, please bring it with you. Cost: $35 in advance, $40 day of
